Location And Description
Ducks Landing Subdivision is located in the Southwest
quadrant of Port Rowan on a 26 acre parcel of land bounded on the North
by Front
Street - Road 42, on the South by the shore of Long Point Bay (Lake
Erie), on
the East by a ravine, watercourse and woodlot. On the west it is
bordered by a
nature reserve created around the recently constructed headquarters of
Bird
Studies Canada.
Ducks Landing Phase 1 was ceremonially opened in 2002. It consists of nine family style lots each with frontal footage of 77.5 feet (68.3 feet at rear) and a depth of 129.6 feet. Future phases will include condominium development, lots backing onto ravine, woodlots and eventually onto the Long Point Bay environmental setback.
